Prof. Simeon Pierre Choukem

Simeon Pierre CHOUKEM is Professor of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Consultant Physician, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London), Fellow of the Cameroon Academy of Science (FCAS), and Pioneer-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences-University of Dschang since 2018. He is the COMS-A Chair of the Education and Curriculum Committee

He has held other leadership positions relevant to medical education in Africa; amongst others, founding-member and faculty of the “Diabetes Academy Africa (D2A)” since 2015. He has led faculty development programmes in their medical school and is currently leading the COMS-A Faculty development Academy. His research also focusses on medical education in Africa.

He is recipient of many other international Fellowships and awards. Prof CHOUKEM also holds and Executive-Master of Business Administration and is a guest speaker in the field of Personal Development and Leadership (Mental Programming, Emotional Intelligence, Critical Thinking…etc.).
