Dr. Faith Nawagi

Dr. Faith Nawagi (RN, BSN, PGC.ClinEpi, MIPH, PhD) is a distinguished leader in health professions education (HPE) and workforce development. She serves as the African Regional Representative for FAIMER and ECFMG, divisions of Intealth. Based in Kampala, Uganda, she supports the design, implementation, and evaluation of strategic initiatives across Africa in health workforce development, health professions education, accreditation, clinical fellowship programs, database development, and primary-source verification of medical credentials.

Dr. Nawagi is widely published and has served as both Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on numerous Africa-wide and multi-site research and training initiatives. Her areas of expertise include health professions education, accreditation and quality assurance, international health workforce training, quantitative and qualitative analysis, scientific writing, and grant development. She has also secured competitive funding to advance health systems strengthening and workforce innovation across Africa.
