Dr. Ernest Addae

Dr. Ernest Addae is a Lecturer in Molecular Pathology at the School of Medical Sciences, University of Cape Coast, Ghana, where he teaches medical, MPhil, and PhD students. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

He is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Tiobe Health Ltd, where he leads PerTutor AI, a retrieval-augmented tutoring platform purpose-built for African medical and health-sciences students, and TiobExam, an examination coordination platform now deployed across several tertiary institutions in Ghana.

His work sits at the intersection of medical education, molecular pathology, and responsibly applied AI - driven by the conviction that Africa's twin challenges, scaling instruction beyond the faculty-to-student gap and reimagining assessment in the era of AI, can only be addressed through context-aware, evidence-backed educational technology designed on the continent, for the continent.
