
Prof. Tran Diep Tuan
Dr. Tran Diep Tuan is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMP), Vietnam. He serves as a member of the National Education Council and Human Resources Development, as well as the advisory board of Western Pacific Association for Medical Education (WPAME). Dr. Tran Diep Tuan has received several awards, including the John J. Bonica Award, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Award, and the International Brain Research Organization and WHO/NINDS for International Neurological Science Fellowship. His research interests focus on pain imaging, pediatric neurology and infectious diseases, children’s quality of life, and medical education. He has authored more than 75 articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. As the Secretary of UMP Party Committee, Prof. Tran Diep Tuan’s vision is to elevate UMP to become Vietnam’s leading health sciences university, comparable with top institutions in the region.
