MedEdAfrica 2026 is a continental platform for collaboration, innovation, and leadership in health professions education. Hosted by the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia in partnership with the Consortium of Medical Schools in- Africa (COMS-A) and the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE), the conference convenes academic leaders, policymakers, regulators, educators, students, and partners to strengthen African-led solutions for a future-ready health workforce.
Building on the success of the inaugural 2025 conference, which established COMS-A and produced a landmark set of continental recommendations MedEdAfrica 2026 focuses on implementation, innovation, and partnerships that improve training quality and health system outcomes across Africa.
