Prof. Billy Tsima

Dr Billy Tsima Is an Associate Professor at the University of Botswana’s Faculty of Medicine clinically trained in Family Medicine. His faculty position includes teaching responsibilities, administration, research and clinical service. Dr Tsima is a member of the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) Center For AIDS Research (CFAR) International Core that oversees key HIV research operations under the auspices of the Botswana UPenn Partnership (BUP) and its stakeholders particularly Botswana’s Ministry of Health and the University of Botswana.

Dr. Tsima currently serves as the Acting Dean of  the University of Botswana’s Faculty of Medicine (School of Medicine). He is a founding member of the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health having joined the University of Botswana Medical School in 2010.
