Heritier Mfura

Heritier Mfura is an intern medical doctor and a Master of Science in Global Health Delivery candidate at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE), class of 2025. He is passionate about academics, research, and evidence-based medicine and has held leadership roles, including serving as Vice President for Academics and Research in UGHE’s student council. He is a published co-author with research interests spanning global health and surgery. He is a member of the Lecturio Student Advisory Board and co-founder of the UGHE Oncology Interest Group. He is a winner of the clinical category of the MED-Quiz competition 2024, received the student’s ScholarRx Brick Builder Grant in 2023, and is the winner of the University of Rwanda Student Surgical Society research competition 2021.
