Dr. Biniam Ewte

Dr. Biniam, MD, Master of Health Professionals Education, is a distinguished surgeon with a specialty in general surgery and the founding dean of Debre Tabor University. He holds advanced degrees in medicine and health professionals education, establishing a robust career in both clinical practice and academic medicine.

Dr. Biniam has authored numerous publications in medical education and actively participated in national curriculum development and revision initiatives. He has served on the Standing Committee on Medical Education of the Ethiopian Medical Association, introduced innovative teaching strategies in medical education curricula, and serves as a reviewer for many medical journals. He is currently a faculty member in the Department of Surgery and an instructor in the Health Professionals Education program at UGHE.
